ABOUT Fox & Holly Bucks County

him. her. home

Since 1959 the Doylestown Shopping Center was home to our community's department store; first Hess's, then Bon Ton in 1994 until bankruptcy forced it to close this past August. News of the closing was heartfelt throughout our community. As the store represented so much more than just a place to shop.

Karen Thompson, Bucks County native as President and Founder of LSL Brands was compelled to act. She and her family had shopped the store throughout the years. From mundane items to milestone purchases the community department store was part of her family history and it was for so many in the community. Karen as a successful entrepreneur and retailer took on the challenge of reinventing the Doylestown department store and employing former Bon Ton employees.

Fox & Holly Bucks County - Him. Her. Home will be opening as a three month-long Holiday Pop Up Store November 1st. Karen and her LSL Brands team along with former Bon Ton team members have created a multi-generational shopping experience featuring familiar brands along side new and exiting brand additions presented in a fun and socially engaging atmosphere. Retail and special events will give guests reasons to visit again and again.

Renovations are planned through the winter with the permanent store schedule to open Spring 2019. "We are all a part of its success", said Karen. "We are asking the community to name the permanent store", said Karen. "This store is here to serve the community. We are all a part of its success." Name our store entries will be accepted on the Fox & Holly Bucks County Facebook and Instagram pages and in the store.
